“Hey guys, I’ve waited as long as I can to take the test this year 😔, so from Nov. 6 until I pass the FNP boards (hopefully around Dec 16), I’ll only be offering in-office & virtual therapies on Wednesday one week and virtual therapy only on Fridays the following week. I will rotate between the two for the 5 weeks I am studying, but don’t worry, I’m not switching careers! If you’re a newcomer I hope you’ll still read my site and reach out, and I’ll be randomly checking in with you guys during this time to see if these days are working for most people or I need to switch it up! Thank you all so much for letting me be a part of your lives and your journey! I’ll see you soon! Still booking every M-F until Nov 6! – 💖 Anna
Again. And again.
Not as the morning bird
whose song springs
to sudden glorious life
at the dawning of the light,
but as the sun
who touches the horizon
with tender fingertips
before reaching open arms
across the sky
to embrace another day
to weather the storms
to stand tall and breathe fire
and then to descend into rest
until it’s time to rise again.

Asking for help is a sign of strength.
If you are looking for guidance with narcissistic abuse, emotional or psychological abuse, anxiety, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions, addiction recovery, or grief/loss, it takes courage to ask for help. Admitting you need support is the first step toward achieving holistic wellness in a fast-paced, demanding world.
The way in which we cope in the world is greatly influenced by how we see the world. Asking for help and obtaining a fresh perspective is often the most profound step toward developing the mental and emotional health needed to become stronger. The Benefits of Therapy
Psychotherapy can be an effective tool in providing you with the necessary support and training to overcome the challenges you face. By seeking therapy, you are taking responsibility and action to change what no longer works in your life. Many studies have shown throughout the years that psychotherapy is an effective form of treating and managing mental illnesses and other emotional disorders.
As an experienced counselor/therapist, it is my honor to assist you in exploring your core issues and move toward a healthy, fulfilling life. Utilizing a variety of approaches including Cognitive/Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I will work with you to create a treatment plan that is customized to meet your unique circumstances.
With honesty and compassion, I will support you through a safe, open channel of communication. The objectives of our therapy sessions will be created together and will be personal and unique to you. The overarching goals will be to help you gain insight, process emotions, examine priorities, develop coping skills, and learn new techniques to help you grow and evolve through difficult times, now and in the future.
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.”
